The H2Go is a further step in Horizon's development of miniature scale hydrogen fuel cell cars. Several innovations now add more fun and playability including steering control and "plug-in hybrid" concept miniaturization. The energy needed by the H2Go to run is generated from just sunlight and water. Its propulsion does not use batteries and is a first step in battery replacement, since toys consume most of the world's disposable batteries.

The futuristic H2Go was designed by Professor Luigi Colani, a design icon in Europe famous for his futuristic objects and car designs, including creations for Ferrari and Volkswagen. The remote control car comes with a refueling station that enables immediate charging via a small action pump. While the car is running, the refueling station prepares new fuel for the next charge, meaning non-stop play time and elimination of battery charging time for RC toy cars. The hydrogen refueling station is offered with a solar cell, demonstrating renewable fuel technology for future generations.

The H2Go was introduced to the general public in February 2008, at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, where it was awarded the prestigious "Toy Innovation of 2008", in the presence of the Prime Minister of Bavaria and the Mayor of Nuremberg. Horizon is proud to have achieved one of its first major commercialization milestones by launching its concepts and innovative technologies into the real world with established market participants.

Today, Horizon is moving forward into higher power application markets with valuable experience in mass production for small fuel cells,
