Craig Knight     CEO

Craig Knight is a founding shareholder of Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies. With a diverse industrial background, Craig has 20 years extensive working experience in International Sales & Marketing and Business Management roles. Aside from his involvement with Horizon, Craig has launched two other international businesses after 15 years working in large multinational companies. He and his family lived for seven years in Singapore and China. Craig now resides in Sydney, Australia, with his wife and three children. He promotes sustainability and a healthy outdoor lifestyle, enjoying surfing, snowboarding, sailing, and the great outdoors. Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Sydney (Australia) and a Masters of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

 

Before joining Horizon, Jack was Vice President of Haitong Leading Capital Management, a private equity investment fund management company under Haitong Securities.  Prior to that, Jack was an audit manager at KPMG in Shanghai, and provided audit and advisory services to some major multinational corporations operating in China and several major large-cap Chinese companies listed in international and local capital markets. Jack is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a charter holder of Chartered Financial Analyst. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.

Jack Zhang    General Manager

Chen Jie  CTO

After graduation from Donghua University, Chen Jie joined Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies. He has been engaged in PEM fuel cell research and development for more than 13 years with rich experience in fuel cell stack development and system integration from catalyst, PEM, bipolar plate to fuel cell structure. Mr Chen has profound understanding of the reaction mechanism, failure mode and control management of fuel cells, becoming a genuine expert in this field.Since 2007, Mr. Chen has jointly developed a series of commercial fuel cell products with German company Linde Gas and American company Boeing, among other global customers. The lifetime of the portable power generation system developed with Linde Gas reached 20,000 hours, and the power density of the UAV stack developed with Boeing exceeds 1 kW/kg. Since 2015, Mr. Chen has led the development of 60, 80 and 100 kW high-power fuel cell systems with ultra-thin hybrid graphite and metal bipolar plates, which have unique advantages of high power density and long lifetime. 
 The fuel cell products developed by Mr. Chen have been widely used in medium and heavy logistics vehicles, large and medium buses, passenger cars and MW-scale fuel cell power stations.

Dr. Arthur Koschany  Chief Scientist

Dr. Arthur Koschany has 20 years of hands-on fuel cell technology experience and is one the world's most renowned fuel cell scientists specializing in compact and lightweight power systems. He started his career in the industry as co-founder and fuel cell team leader for Magnet Motor GmbH, and later Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH where he was engaged in the development of fuel cell prototypes for cars and busses as early as 1994. Since then, he also founded NovArs GmbH specializing in lightweight and compact PEM fuel cell systems for portable and small fuel cell applications, which was later acquired by Manhattan Scientifics Inc. His fuel cell powered electric bicycle was awarded Time Magazine's "Invention of the Year in 2001". Dr. Arthur Koschany received his PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Regensburg in Germany in 1993. 

Cong Huang    VP Operations

Huang Cong has more than ten years auto parts work experience in YFJC (Johnson Controls and SAIC's joint venture), with specialized experience in manufacturing and supply chain management. He was involved in the planning and implementation of the establishment of Nanjing YFJC production Plant, where he formed the team and supply chain, has planned the production layout and optimized its processes, turning it into a Shanghai Volkswagen A-class supplier. He promoted and implemented the MES and WMS system in YFJC. Mr. Huang graduated from the East China University of Science and Technology, with a major in Business Administration
