Distributed Power Plant - Telecom Base Station

Distributed Power Plant - Telecom Base Station

  • A new green, zero-carbon power supply solution for telecom base stations integrates photovoltaic (PV) and hydrogen. The PV system serves as the primary power generation source, while the hydrogen production and storage fuel cell system acts as the energy storage source. This solution addresses the power supply challenges faced by communication base stations in remote areas.

  • The system is equipped with a 1 Nm³/h PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) water electrolysis hydrogen production system, a 16 Nm³ low-pressure hydrogen storage tank, and a 2.5 kW fuel cell power generation system to meet the energy demands of the communication base station.

  • This solution overcomes the industry's long-standing challenges, such as the difficulties of laying power lines for traditional communication base stations, high energy consumption, and high maintenance costs.
