Hydrogen fuel cell trains offer significant advantages in reducing carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency.

The train is equipped with two 200 kW fuel cell systems independently developed by Horizon. The combined system achieves a maximum output power of 410 kW, with a dynamic response rate of 12 kW per second and a system efficiency of over 42%. It can start up at low temperatures of -30°C in less than 10 minutes.

Based on the estimated annual mileage and tonnage of freight trains, each hydrogen fuel cell train can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 400 tons per year.
